Dr. sc. Hrvoje Šimović joined INA’s Management Board in September 2022, coming from his position as a Full Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb, where he has worked since 2003. Prior to his academic career, he worked at Croatia banka d.d.
Alongside his academic work, Mr. Šimović has extensive experience in consulting, particularly in the areas of public sector fiscal sustainability, assessment of the fiscal impact of reforms and public policies, tax advisory, and strategic planning in the public sector.
He has worked as a consultant for numerous professional associations, private-sector companies, international institutions and consulting firms, as well as public-sector institutions and state-owned enterprises. He has also served as an advisor and member of numerous working groups of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Health.
