Leadership in the age of artificial intelligence is not about managing technology, but about giving people clear direction, trust, and room to grow. Artificial intelligence can accelerate processes and increase productivity, but responsibility, values, and final decisions remain with people. The organizations that succeed will be those that do not see technology as an end in itself, but as a tool for creating greater value for people, the economy, and society.
Dr Siniša Krajnović is President of the Management Board of Ericsson Nikola Tesla. He began his career in 1994 at the company’s Research and Development Centre and subsequently held a number of senior leadership positions within Ericsson, including leading a global research and development organisation comprising more than 15,000 engineers.
From 2018 to 2022, he served as Ericsson’s Executive Vice President for Northeast Asia, responsible for the Cloud Software and Services business. From 2022 to 2025, he was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, specialising in telecommunications, research and development, and digital transformation.
He chairs the Economic Council of the University of Zagreb and lectures at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management, Luxembourg School of Business, and Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management. He holds both a master’s degree and a PhD from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing at the University of Zagreb.
