Kristjan Staničić gained extensive experience in the tourism sector from an early age. Throughout his professional career, he held a number of senior positions, including Assistant Director of Marketing and Sales at Hoteli Novi, where he later became a member of the Management Board.
He also served as President of the Management Board of Liburnia Riviera Hoteli and the Crikvenica-based hotel company Jadran, as well as Executive Director of Sales and Marketing and subsequently President of the Management Board of Hotel Bernardin in Portorož, Slovenia.
He has served as Director of the Croatian National Tourist Board since July 2017 and, from 2020 to 2026, held the position of Vice-President of the European Travel Commission (ETC).
