Sladjana Ćosić is Head of the European Investment Bank (EIB) Group Office in Croatia. In this role, she represents and promotes the EIB Group and its activities and interests, engaging a broad network of national, regional and local stakeholders. She has more than 20 years of experience financing private- and public-sector projects, with a particular focus on sustainability, across sectors and regions including the European Union, the Western Balkans, and South and East Asia.
Before joining the EIB, she worked at the World Bank headquarters on sustainable development operations in the East Asia and Pacific region. She also worked on migration-related issues at the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) in Vienna. She holds two Master’s degrees from the University of Vienna and Johns Hopkins University (Washington, DC) in social sciences, international relations and economics.
