Julia Okatz leads the Green Buildings Hub at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), working within Climate Strategy and Delivery. Her work sits at the intersection of sustainable finance, urban infrastructure, urban regeneration and the development of sustainable buildings and neighbourhoods. Before joining the EBRD, she was a Director at Systemiq, where she led programmes focused on natural resources and urban solutions and worked with governments, international institutions and private investors. Her expertise centres on developing sustainable and affordable urban solutions, improving the use of space and mobilising private capital in support of public policy objectives.
