Associate Professor Goran Marošević, MD, PhD, is a specialist in oncology and radiotherapy and Medical Director of the Special Oncology Hospital Medical Centre Medikol. He is a leading regional expert in modern radiotherapy, with particular experience in the treatment of gynaecological and gastrointestinal cancers, head and neck tumours, urological and haematological malignancies, as well as benign conditions. Throughout his career, he has contributed to the introduction of advanced radiotherapy procedures, including stereotactic radiosurgery and radiotherapy for primary tumours and metastases. Before joining Medikol, he served as Medical Director of an Affidea radiotherapy centre and as International Coordinator for radiotherapy centres in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland and Türkiye. He has completed professional training at leading international oncology institutions, including Houston Methodist Hospital in the United States.
