Nader Bawany began his career in investment banking with roles at Bank of America and Morgan Stanley, focusing on credit derivatives and equity products for institutional clients. He then joined fintech start-up Traydstream as one of its first employees, where he was instrumental in fundraising efforts and helped grow the company into a global operation with over 100 employees across multiple countries. For nearly eight years, Nader has been with ECM Partners, where he is a Portfolio Manager and Head of Business Development. In this role, he oversees investments and project management across South Eastern Europe in hospitality, real estate, and telecommunications, and serves on the boards of several portfolio companies in these sectors. His most recent focus is the acquisition and transformation of the Novi Vinodolski resort on Croatia’s Adriatic coast, which is undergoing a complete refurbishment and rebranding as a Mövenpick property under Accor, scheduled to open in June.
