A Neuroscience Perspective on the School of the Future: A Brain for the Future, but a School from the Past?!
LectureCRO
Thursday, October 8 · 16:00 - 16:45
Conference room

The world in which children are growing up is changing faster than ever, while the education system still largely relies on methods developed for a different era. In the age of artificial intelligence and rapid technological change, simply acquiring and reproducing facts is no longer enough to prepare new generations for the future.

Drawing on insights from neuroscience, medicine, and pedagogy, Dr Ranko Rajović will explore how education can foster the ability to connect information, think critically and creatively, adapt, collaborate, and solve problems. Through insights gained from the NTC Learning System, he will demonstrate how movement, play, curiosity, and the creation of new connections between pieces of information can help children learn more effectively and fulfil their potential.

The lecture will offer a vision of the school of the future, one that prepares children not only for existing professions but also for a world, technologies, and challenges that we cannot yet fully anticipate.
