THE IDEA

MBF was launched in 2024 under the name Masters of Building Fair, with the initial idea of bringing together stakeholders from the investment supply chain. However, while developing its first edition, it quickly became clear that major projects and investments are never created within a single industry. Every sector is naturally connected to other sectors, investors, financial institutions, technology companies, logistics partners and many other fields that together form the wider business ecosystem.

As a result, MBF exceeded the scope of a sector-specific event from its very first edition, evolving into a holistic platform that brings together industries from the private, public and academic sectors. In smaller economies, where industries are strongly interconnected, it became evident that the greatest value is created by a place that unites different sectors and enables key decision-makers to meet in one location.

Since 2025, MBF has been developing as the Master Business Forum – an international business platform connecting business leaders and companies from diverse industries, while bringing together senior representatives of the private, public and academic sectors from the Adria region and beyond.
