Margherita Brianza, a Politecnico di Milano architecture graduate and a landscape student of Gilles Clement at the Ecole Nationale Superieure de Paysage in Versailles, has a rich professional background.
One of her initial work experiences involved a multi-year collaboration with Charles Jencks in Portello’s iconic Park. Her subsequent research and work on urban regeneration projects led to the founding of the landscape design studio PARCNOUVEAU in 2008, a testament to her significant contributions to the field.
For over two decades, Margherita Brianza has been shaping open spaces of various sizes in Italy and across the globe. Her unique approach, a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetics, has catapulted her to the forefront of the Milanese and international cultural scene. Her profound insights, shared through thematic articles in sector magazines, further solidify her position as a respected thought leader, leaving a lasting impression on the landscape architecture community.
With considerable experience in landscape design, Margherita Brianza has taken part in numerous urban regeneration projects in Milan, such as the Daniel Libeskind residential complex park and the new CityLife public park.
She has followed projects on various scales, such as San Siro Thermal Bath, the winning C40 – Reinventing Cities project, and the Monzalife Park, where he conceived a Bio-lake, playground and waterfront. It followed the new configuration of Piazza Trento, focusing on sustainability and functionality and the open spaces of the A2A tower designed by ACPV Architects.
Furthermore, her contribution to international contexts can be appreciated in the design of the Mandarin Oriental Residences and the Public Square in Tel Aviv, creating distinctive and harmonious environments that integrate perfectly into the urban context. She can harmonize functionality and aesthetics through these creations, creating unique and cutting-edge environments in international contexts.
