With 21 years of active work as a licensed architect, and over 25 years of professional experience in total, Alan has gained extensive expertise in spatial planning and architectural design. Over the past 10 years, he has played a leading role in numerous major development projects, including tourist resorts and facilities, sports complexes, public buildings, and commercial and hospitality developments. In these projects, he has served as co-author and chief coordinator of multidisciplinary design teams.

He has received multiple awards and recognitions, and has actively participated in professional conferences through exhibitions, lectures, workshops, and presentations. His work has been published and widely acknowledged within the profession.

In addition to design work, he has provided consultancy services concerning spatial planning documentation, legal regulations, and other professional aspects of land use and development.

As Chairman of the Committee for International Cooperation at the Croatian Chamber of Architects and as a member of the assemblies of both HKA and UHA (Association of Croatian Architects), he has acquired significant experience in international architectural regulation and collaboration.

Following the Homeland War, he worked part-time for EU observers as a professional translator (written and simultaneous interpretation) and participated in field missions. During that time, he also collaborated with humanitarian organizations in regions such as Glina, Hrvatska Kostajnica, Sisak, and Petrinja.
